Mr Noyce's Cow
During the 1940's the pupils of Red House ran a farm. They were responsible for the upkeep of the animals and crops and would sell their product to the school kitchen. Mr Noyce, who lived in Noyce's Cottage (now known as Farm Cottage), oversaw the activity. Obviously "free range grazing" was available for the cows as this one is on the grass by Adam with another cow in the background.
